Sexological research is interdisciplinary and includes biological, psychological and social influences on human sexuality. In cooperation with disciplines such as biology, psychology, social sciences and cultural sciences. We explore the basics of human sexuality (e.g., NeMUP), examine empirically sexual experience and behavior (e.g., the Berlin Männerstudie, the Berlin Altersstudie), and conduct clinical and health services research (e.g., prevention projects against child sexual abuse; researching of interventions referring to couples in the case of gastroenterological diseases).
